About Wigahi

Built around one wardrobe question at a time

Wigahi started in Leeds in 2015 as a small styling practice working out of a single room on Roundhay Road. Eleven years later the address has stayed the same, and so has the way we work: one client, one wardrobe, one conversation before we touch anything.

How it began

The company was founded by a former retail buyer who noticed the same problem repeating in Leeds shopping centres: people leaving with bags of clothes they would never wear twice. The idea was simple. Instead of selling more, help people buy less and choose better. That principle still shapes every appointment we run today.

Over eleven years the practice grew from one person to a team of 17, offering 8 distinct services, from single wardrobe audits to full seasonal shopping trips across Leeds. We have worked with 1,683 clients in total, completing 2,449 jobs, and 585 of those clients came back a second time for another season or another occasion.

Mission

Our mission is straightforward: reduce the time and money people spend on clothes that do not fit their life. We do this by working from what someone already owns, testing it against their week, and only then deciding what is missing.

Vision

We want shopping in Leeds to feel less like guesswork. A client should be able to walk into any shop on Briggate or order online with a clear list, not a vague hope. That is the outcome we aim for on every job.

Core values

Honest advice

We tell clients when something does not work, even if it means a shorter shopping list and a shorter invoice.

Budget respect

Every recommendation is checked against a stated budget before it is suggested, not after.

Practical fit

We plan around a real week: commute, work, weekends, not an imagined lifestyle.

How a job is organised

01

A short call or message, usually answered within 3 hours, to understand what is needed and set a budget.

02

A wardrobe review, in person or by video, covering what already exists and what gets worn.

03

A shopping plan across shops and areas we know across Leeds, or an online list with links.

04

A follow-up fitting to check the final pieces work together before the job is closed.
